1. Happy 93rd Birthday, Guruji! Sri Krishna Pattabhi Jois was born on the full moon day of July 1915 (Guru Purnima day). This year, that day falls on July 18. To learn more about Guruji's amazing life and his more than 70 years of teaching Ashtanga yoga, see www.ayri.org/biography.html.

3. Evolution: Asia Yoga Conference - Hong Kong, July 3-6
Asia's largest annual yoga conference, Evolution will offer more than 180 classes of many styles taught by an esteemed faculty that includes Sharath Rangaswamy, Ken Harakuma, David Swenson and more. Held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Evolution will unite an extensive mix of yoga traditions and cultures from the East and West. The conference will give more than 3,500 yogis and yoginis from around the world the opportunity to increase their awareness of the rich history and disciplines of yoga.

4. Ashtanga Studio in Seattle for Sale
The location formerly known as Ashtanga Yoga School (AYS) is available for purchase. The property is commercially zoned in a good location. The first floor is the main studio space for Mysore class (about 1,100+ sq. ft.); ground floor is a smaller studio for beginner class (500 sq. ft.); top floor (1,100 sq. ft.) is suitable as living quarters.
